Party Girl

Behold last year's party girl Red hair and vodka Two tickets to anything Right up her sleeve Some Saturday nights Saw her name up in lights When you've got so much Why should you leave? And yet something calls you A voice you can't hear And it tugs you away By the heart and the heels So you turn in the tickets Give up the apartment And see how the other half feels Yes it's true to a point That my life in the past was a Whirlwind of lovers and cocktails and drama But none of that matters Since sometime this morning When Lily looked up and said Mama No I cannot deny That I wasted those years Just a joyride down darkened roads Winding and hilly But none of that matters Since sometime this morning When I was called Mama by Lily
